Annual Community Art Show
The annual Community Art Show in the Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery at Fairfield Public Library is a big deal! All artists from the Fairfield area are invited to submit works regardless of experience level, and over 60 of these pieces have been selected to represent at the show. The exhibit will run at the Main Library in Fairfield from February 11 to March 29, with a reception to welcome the artists on Thursday evening, February 15, from 5:30-7:30pm. The public is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. Free admission.

Drum Tao
Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts presents: Drum Tao!
2023 is the 30th Anniversary of Drum Tao - since 1993, Drum Tao performances have touched more than nine million spectators across the world! Drum Tao features "Wadaiko," or Taiko for short: large, unique sounding Japenese drums, as well as Japense flutes and harps. Wadaiko performances are not to be missed! This is high-energy performance art that combines music, dance, martial arts, and culture with power, speed, and synchronicity, resulting in heart-pounding, dynamic group drumming, Based in Oita, Japan, Drum Tao has three teams that tour the globe and pride themselves on creating "Japenese entertainment" for a new generation.

All proceeds fund research grants for the CJD Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting individuals affected by this rare and fatal brain disease. Gabrielle Lakshmi, resident DJ and vocalist, is bringing her passion for educating young minds to the stage! Gabrielle has acted as musical director and vocal coach for local community theater productions, has taught at Little Maestros, NYC’s premier infant & toddler music program, and works with community outreach programs in Harlem & Bridgeport. She is currently working as a full time musician in the greater NYC area.
About Jon Kamal
Radio personality, producer and musician Jon Kamal is a life-long performer, but mostly just enjoys being a Dad! Before working in the radio business, Jon was a Paraprofessional at Westport Public Schools for 7 years, as well as a private guitar teacher. He also currently works part time as a Camp Director for Peak Performance Sports in Norwalk. You can hear Jon at his day job every day from 5 to 10am on The Anna and Raven Show on Star 99.9, 12 to 1pm on 95.9 The Fox and 7 to 10pm on 99.1 PLR!

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that Santa will once again, be visiting
Fairfield on Sunday, November 26 th ! Santa Claus will arrive by hook-and-ladder down Reef Road at
10:00am. He will sit in the beautifully decorated gazebo on Sherman Green until approximately 2:00PM,
as he listens to the wide-eyed holiday wishes of all the children who visit him. Santa’s elves will give
each child an adorable, small plush holiday toy, sponsored by Massage Envy.
